Qualifications : Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed in the aggregate) at the Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from n accredited foreign university. Ph.D. or published work of equivalent standard in the subject. Desirable : 3 years teaching and/or research experience in the subject; Publications in the subject. Capability of undertaking independent research in collaboration with National and International organizations. Ability to mobilize funds for research activities of Institute (IDSJ) from government agencies and other national and international organizations. Experience in conducting training programmes of similar institutions and willing to participate in teaching/research programme. Familiarity with computer and statistical packages. Work experience/specialization in the area of Economics/ Agriculture Economics/ Public Economics/ Labour Economics/ Dalit Studies/ Banking & Finance/ Political Science/ other social disciplines. Knowledge of Hindi (at least to speak) Knowledge of Hindi (at least to speak).
